It has always been known, that if a fighter pilot survives his first 10 missions, his chances of survival throughout his career improves dramatically. Red Flag was created to simulate those first 10 missions... and they make it as real as humanly possible. Every year, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Operation Red Flag has been created to train fighter pilots . For 14 days, close to 125 aircrafts, from 6 countries, engage in the largest air combat exercises in the world. It is considered by fighter pilots to be more challenging and dangerous than war itself... In this scene, (apart from the F15 we take off with) we show 39 aircrafts, 7 of which are real, 28 of which are computer generated.... here's a hint: we could not afford the "escorts"...
