Ever since I first saw Vampire High I have found myself so fascinated with the underlying story of the show especially the mystery surrounding the Professor. I know a great deal of people absolutely love the Vampires, but me I am fascinated about the Professor. Did you base this character on someone you knew, or just conceived from your rich imaginaation.?

I really wish that Vampire High, had been as popular as Buffy, Angel, or that horrible twilight rubbish! I honestly believe it is one of the best pieces of vampire fiction to have ever graced mankind, I'm so disappointed that now when people think of vampires they think of sparkly edward cullen and not of the brooding Drew, or even the maniacal Marty. Such a disappointment, if anything it was before its own time.

"Vampire High" could be made into a rock opera, like they did with "Tommy". That is only my opinion.

In a way, Vampire High kind of reminds me of a "Dark Shadows" version of Welcome Back Kotter!

Hi Darryl: thanks for your comment. Yes, I did think I was creating something unique on the Vampire theme. Believe it or not, it started out as a comedy but as I started writing, the subject matter became more serious and I decided that I could communicate ideas better through drama. The "Night School" idea was always cool to me -- and hopefully the series will get resurrected. Meanwhile, have you checked out my e-book on this site: THE MANSBRIDGE EXPERIMENT. I've written the first two chapters - I welcome your feedback.

I grew up watching Barnabas Collins. Vampire High combines humor with that "Dark Shadows" Gothic Charm.

I always wondered if the rest of the show was gonna get a dvd release. Some of it has. People that have recorded the show over the years from tv have been selling copies. Basically against the law to do that but thats the only way people in america can see the entire show.

I read the first two chapters and it was really interseting I'm wondering how the plot is going to unfold.
